"To a Man" is an investigation into the male experience of my generation. Centered around the South Shore Staten Island community, different types of young men will be documented as they live their lives on Staten Island. These men will show the complexities of the contemporary middle-class American.
Dualism is portrayed with shots of industry and nature, the South Shore neighborhoods, the New York harbor, the Staten Island Mall and the Fresh Kills Landfill juxtaposed with young men talking about their experiences growing up on Staten Island.
