"The Watchers" is a series of investigations into the subconscious realities of archetypes. Although mostly painting the series focuses on the question "what is strength of character?" Where do we find our strength in the dark times. This project in retrospect was a direct reaction to the political, emotional, and creative climate of the Bush administration. This project speaks of inward exploration and reflects a time when we in the us became quiet.
